Mrs. Lara saves a horse. A beautiful summer adoption!
Beautiful things happen every summer at Mint Retreat Suites. But the most beautiful of all this year was the story of Lara.
Lara, a proud horse, was found abandoned near our property. Neglected, hungry, thirsty, and wounded.
George from our team and our guests immediately began to care for her — offering food, water, treatment, and gentle attention.
Until the day she met one of our guests who shared the same name: Mrs. Lara, from England. She had recently lost her beloved horse.
From the very first moment, something magical happened. The connection between them was profound.
At the end of the summer, the horse made a long journey to England, where she was adopted and is now lovingly cared for by Mrs. Lara. There could be no better fate. Mrs. Lara is a specialist in horse care and runs a center dedicated to their wellbeing.
This touching story filled all of us with joy, and we felt it was one worth sharing with you.

We had a truly unforgettable stay and left with the most wonderful impressions! From the very first moment, we felt the genuine warmth and kindness of the staff. They were always ready to help with a smile, making our experience so much more enjoyable.
Our room was an absolute jewel—beautifully decorated, spotless, and offering a profound sense of peace and comfort. The absolute highlight, though, was the breathtaking view. Waking up and falling asleep to such a magical landscape added a remarkable touch of luxury to our stay.
The pool area was simply gorgeous—spacious, pristine, and the perfect spot to cool off and relax in total tranquility.
And we cannot forget the breakfast! It was incredibly delicious, offering a fantastic variety of fresh ingredients and local delicacies to suit every taste. Every morning was a culinary treat that perfectly fueled our days of exploring.
Overall, the retreat exceeded every expectation. The serenity and relaxation we found here were invaluable. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We spent a few wonderful days at Mint Retreat Suites in September, and I can honestly say it was a perfect choice for our vacation.
The peace and atmosphere are the first things that captivate you at this property. Away from the tourist hustle, the accommodation offers exactly what you need to truly relax.
The pool is a dream – clean, well-maintained, and with enough space to enjoy the sun without feeling crowded. We spent hours here, relaxing and admiring the surroundings. The cleanliness is impeccable, both in the room and in all common areas. You can see the care with which everything is maintained daily.
The hosts deserve a special mention – friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any recommendation or need. You truly feel welcome and appreciated. The view is spectacular! You can’t help but wake up with a smile on your face when you look out the window every morning.
Mint Retreat Suites is an accommodation I warmly recommend to everyone – whether you’re coming as a couple for a romantic getaway, with family for relaxation, or with friends. It’s the perfect place to recharge your batteries and enjoy the beauty of Kalandra. We will definitely be back!

The breakfast was always fresh and you could choose out of many options. It was slightly different everyday and always delicious.
The items I enjoyed the most were the honey jars (flower, forest and pine) and the fresh bread. It’s in the form of a buffet with a beautiful view (sea and pool) it’s breathtaking.
The hotel manager introduced us to the hotel, told us about the various activities, places to visit. She really spent her time with us and you could feel welcome.
It’s suuuuuuper peaceful, with one of the best views I’ve seen in my life.
I’ve been in many hotels including 5 star hotels and this is surely the best one and it’s because of the peacefulness, hospitality, views, comfort, cleanliness and more.
If anyone has any doubts, DONT! just go to MINT! I will surely be coming back in the future.
I could literally list items that I loved forever. Nevertheless, I won’t spoil the awesome experience!!!

A perfect place for adults couple!
Silence and sounds of nature! Milky Way – in clear nights!

The place (even though it is on a hill, it has a beautiful garden) and all houses have an amazing view of the Poseidi Gulf and Skala Fourka.
The terrace is spacious with a beautiful view of the garden (separated for privacy from the other apartments). In the house, you have everything you need (you can choose to have breakfast or to cook for yourself).
The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Every day the housekeeper cleans the interior of the house and the terrace.
Private, safe parking.
Clean pool with an amazing view and a nice bar.
Very warm staff.
Each day they organize something for interested guests (wine tasting, olive oil tasting, Milky Way viewing on clear nights).
Silence and the sounds of nature.
Very close to beautiful beaches (10 minutes by car) and very good restaurants (5-10 minutes by car). You can also order to your room!
And one negative: It is almost booked all the time and I couldn’t stay more days!
