Mint Retreat Suites are so close to many beautiful sandy beaches and in walking distance with some of them. Beach bars, picturesque taverns and the café-bars of the area offer alternative options of day and night entertainment. So close yet so far, just the way you prefer it!

We suggest you to explore our pathways, easy, medium and harder ones for any visitor-walker. Visit the beautiful village of Kalandra, take photos of a picturesque chapel in the olive groves and gaze at the open Aegean sea with the Sporades Islands and Pelion mountain. Admire an aerial view of Olympus mountain just opposite of Posidi cape and enjoy a peaceful sunset or a full moon rise. Swim and explore like modern Robinsons the beautiful quiet nearby beaches, on pathways that alternate and finally enjoy the famous exotic cape of Poseidon with the ancient temple dedicated to the god of the sea.

Swim and Relax

The large pool of Mint Retreat Suites offers a breathless aerial view of the surrounding area and the sea. It is located at a discreet distance from the suites so that privacy is not disturbed. Features sunbeds and luxury umbrellas as well as seating areas shaded by pergolas, while served by the pool bar.
The lounge music of the pool, perfectly in tune with the natural landscape, accompanies the visitor, if he wishes so, also to the suite.
Moreover, we offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy two specially made music compilations on YouTube platform.

History

Near by historical places

The beautiful Kassandra peninsula witnesses history from antiquity. The city of Mendi was founded in the 8th century BC. It got its name from the Minthi plant, a species of mint that is still abundant in the area. The city experienced great prosperity and had its own currency, while it was also known for its famous wine, the Mendai wine.
At Posidi, on the beautiful cape, overlooking Mt. Olympus, there was the famous Temple of Poseidon, the God of the sea. The ancient Greeks had placed the two brother Gods, Zeus and Poseidon, side by side.

International airport MACEDONIA (Thessaloniki) is about 90 km away

It’s a 15-minute walk. However, just 5 km away by car, you can enjoy the famous and well organized beaches in Posidi (south side) and Aegeopelagitika (north side). The great advantage of the cape is that no matter where the wind blows you can find calm sea for swimming on the opposite side.

You can pay either by card or cash upon arrival.

As a general rule, you can check in until 10.00 p.m. However, if you are late for any reason, you will need to let us know your exact time of arrival.

Our secure, private parking lot is complimentary for all guests. Each suite is assigned a dedicated parking space for convenient and hassle-free parking.

After your landing at International Macedonia Airport, you have three options for your transfer to Mint Retreat Suites:
1. Rent a car directly from the airport,
2. Take a taxi,
3. With prepaid transfer through your agency.
In case you wish to rent a car after you arrive at Mint Retreat Suites, just let the receptionist know and our associates will organize the rental, taking care of bringing the car to the hotel for you. This way, your journey will be comfortable and trouble-free.

Just 15 km away from Mint Retreat Suites, in the town of Kassandra, is the nearest First Aid Health Centre of the National Health System. Moreover, there are private doctors available with a variety of specialties, and labs for examinations. There are also private dental offices.
In addition, just 5 minutes from the hotel, there is a fully equipped pharmacy, offering comfort and convenience for your health needs.

The main hospital of Halkidiki is at Poligyros town, 80 km distance from Mint Retreat Suites (National Health System).

You may ask at the reception, upon arrival.
1. Olive oil and wine tastings are organized on a weekly schedule. (Minimum six participants)
2. Star observations are taking place at night, without though moonlight or cloudy weather upon request.(Minimum six participants)
3. Massage and yoga are offered daily, upon request.

Our attentive staff is always available (on call) to assist you, whether it’s day or night.

High-speed, complimentary WiFi is available throughout the Suites and the Pool area.

Mint Retreat Suites offer towels, sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge for all guests, allowing everyone to enjoy the pool without any additional expense.
