Mint Retreat Suites Adults Only are situated on the hill of Kalandra in the area of Possidi in Halkidiki, in a magnificent estate of 16 acres. In the surrounding amphitheatrical area of the picturesque olive groves, the pine-covered hill and the naturally grown wild mint, we created autonomous, stone-built suites, which overview the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

Klaudi Heinrich05/10/2023Ein sehr schöner Ort mit einem Traumhaften Ausblick, ohne Auto kommt man jedoch nicht weit. Das Frühstück kam im Korb, soll aber ab nächstem Sommer als Buffet stattfinden (Im Korb war sehr wenig enthalten, wurde aber nach Nachfrage ohne Probleme aufgefüllt). Die Zimmer sind sauber und groß und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Leiter des Hotels war sehr lieb und hat uns viele Spots zum Baden, essen und erkunden verraten. Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert und einladend. Wer sich in seinem Urlaub Ruhe gönnen will, ist hier genau richtig.

JULIAN CLEAVER20/09/2023We had a superb 1 week stay at Mint Retreat and we're already planning a return trip. Amazing hilltop location with stunning views towards the sea. Being within it's own secluded complex it's exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Lovely pool & bar area too. Selection of nice beaches within 10 mins drive. And a special mention for Rea & Apostolos who were our wonderful hosts, very helpful with local restaurant reservations and suggestions. They've created a beautiful sanctuary to be enjoyed.

Ένας πραγματικά μοναδικός και παραδεισένιος προορισμός που σε καθηλώνει από την πρώτη κι όλας στιγμή, με τους πιο θερμούς και υπέροχους οικοδεσπότες που φροντίζουν να μη σου λείψει κυριολεκτικά τίποτα! Το περιβάλλον και οι εγκαταστάσεις είναι πανέμορφες, προσεγμένες και μελετημένες άριστα με κέντρο πάντα την καλύτερη δυνατή διαμονή και εμπειρία του επισκέπτη. Τα υπέροχα δρομάκια, το απέραντο ολοζώντανο πράσινο γρασίδι και η πολύ προσεγμένη βλάστηση κατά μήκος της εγκατάστασης αποφέρουν έναν αέρα εξωτικού παραδείσου, πολυτέλειας και ψυχικής ηρεμίας. Οι σουίτες είναι ευρύχωρες πεντακάθαρες και άνετες, εξοπλισμένες με όλες τις σύγχρονες ανέσεις και παροχές, και μία πολύ άνετη και εξίσου ευρύχωρη βεράντα με φόντο μία φοβερή θεά. Παράλληλα με την διαμονή παρέχονται και κάποιες επιπλέον απολαυστικές υπηρεσίες, που μπορούν να ενισχύσουν την εμπειρία, όπως χαλαρωτικό μασάζ, παρατήρηση αστεριών, γευσιγνωσία τοπικών οίνων, γευσιγνωσία παρθένου ελαιολάδου κ.α. Τόσα πολλά ακόμα μπορούν να ειπωθούν για αυτό το υπέροχο μέρος αλλά δε φτάνουν οι γραμμές. Πρόκειται οπωσδήποτε για έναν προορισμό που σίγουρα θα πρέπει να διαλέξει ο καθένας για τις διακοπές του κάποια στιγμή! Εμείς δώσαμε ραντεβού ξανά για το επόμενο καλοκαίρι και ήδη ανυπομονούμε!
Cristina Tusaliu12/08/2023Idyllic location that blends Greek authenticity with modern luxury, situated in the middle of an olive trees farm. Offers amazing views of the sea and breathtaking sunsets. Also provides insightful experiences. We choose olive oil tasting and stargazing, that were great both for adults and our teenage kids :) The owners are very welcoming, ensuring everything is perfect!

Mint Retreat Suites are so close to many beautiful sandy beaches and in walking distance with some of them. Beach bars, picturesque taverns and the café-bars of the area offer alternative options of day and night entertainment. So close yet so far, just the way you prefer it!
We suggest you beautiful routes, small, easy and bigger for every visitor-walker. Visit the beautiful picturesque village of Kalandra, take photos in a picturesque church in the olive groves, gaze at the half Aegean with the Sporades and Pelion, swim and explore like modern Robinsons the beautiful quiet nearby beaches, on paths that alternate and finally enjoy the famous exotic cape of Poseidon with the ancient temple dedicated to the god of the sea.

Swim and Relax
The large pool of Mint Retreat Suites offers a breathless aerial view (6×16 m length, 1.40 m depth). It is located at a discreet distance from the suites so that privacy is not disturbed. Features sunbeds and luxury umbrellas as well as seating areas shaded by pergolas, while served by the pool bar.
The lounge music of the pool, perfectly in tune with the natural landscape, accompanies the visitor, if he wishes so, also to the suite.
Moreover, MINT RETREAT SUITES offer their guests the opportunity to enjoy two specially made music compilations on YouTube (3 hour duration each), available even before their arrival at the properties.
History
Near historical places
This beautiful place of the Kassandra peninsula witnesses history from antiquity. The city of Mendi was founded in the 8th century BC. It got its name from the Minthi plant, a species of mint that is still abundant in the area. The city experienced great prosperity and had its own currency, while it was also known for its famous wine, the Mendai wine.
At its port, Poseidi, on the beautiful cape, there is the famous Temple of Poseidon that overlooks Mt. Olympus. The ancient Greeks had placed there side by side, the two Gods, Zeus and Poseidon.

Mint Retreat Suites suggest guests a delightful dining experience at our beachfront restaurant & bar just 3,5 Km away. Gozo Restaurant is located in Fourka, a few minutes away from the property and serves high quality dishes on a beautiful deck above the sea, seven days a week.
Enjoy Mediterranean cuisine including fresh local fish and seafood, sushi and prime cuts of meat, inspired salads, pasta and risotto. Dishes are created using seasonal, local ingredients and delicacies, organic where possible, from farm to table and supporting the Halkidiki community.
